How to use this toolkit

This social media toolkit is designed for you to help raise awareness and drive signatories to the Interfaith Community Letter calling on the US to maintain its historic leadership in helping eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).  

Inside you will find:  

  • Ready-to-use posts and digital assets for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X that highlight the existing leadership of faith communities in NTD programs and the urgent need to protect hard-won global health progress.

  • Posts and other forms of content you can download and share highlighting information about different NTDs.

  • Social media accounts you can follow for additional content and information on NTDs and related topics. 

We encourage you to share drafted posts, follow partners, and amplify these messages across your networks to help expand the circle of faith leaders supporting this important call to action.

More than 60 leaders from Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, and other faith communities have joined a call for the US to continue its historic leadership helping eliminate neglected tropical diseases (NTDs).

Ending neglected tropical diseases is a winnable fight. 

Thanks to the U.S.’s strong leadership, more than 3.3 billion treatments have reached vulnerable communities, protecting those at risk of crippling and socially isolating conditions that cause disability, blindness, and lifelong suffering.

Historically, faith communities have played a critical role in eliminating these diseases, delivering care through mission hospitals, mosques, temples, churches, and faith-based clinics.
