About the NTD Roundtable
The United States Neglected Tropical Disease Roundtable is a coalition of organizations committed to ending neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). As a nonpartisan group open to the public, the Roundtable mobilizes U.S. action to further the agenda on NTD control, elimination, and eradication.
We are dedicated to ensuring that U.S. support for NTDs advances the core national interests of the United States, leveraging U.S. nonprofit, public, and private sector contributions to the effort.
What We Do
To support our goals, the U.S. NTD Roundtable:
• Engages with Congress and the Executive Branch on matters related to annual appropriations, relevant authorization legislation, and executive policies
• Shares information with Congress and the Executive Branch on relevant technical, political, and policy developments
• Submits testimony, letters, appropriations requests, and other materials to Congress and the Executive Branch in support of hearings, events, and other opportunities
• Maintains relationships with relevant policy leaders, including congressional NTD Caucus co-chairs
• Facilitates events with policymakers on and off Capitol Hill
• Supports inclusive community engagement through monthly meetings
